Tisch Commons is located on the main level of the Danforth University Center on the Danforth Campus at Washington University in St. Louis.

Rental Fee

University-Administered Events $150 per day — SU groups waived
Housekeeping fees may apply
University-Affiliated Personal Events $1000 per day

Space Options

Standard Set: Table and Lounge Seating for ~160

Maximum seating for a buffet dinner: 160 (with dinner served from within the space)

Maximum seating for a lecture: Theater-style for 100

Space Guidelines

  • Events hosted in these spaces must comply with the guidelines for all space rentals.
  • Tisch Commons is available for reservation before 10 a.m. and after 3 p.m. Monday-Friday. Weekend reservations (Saturday/Sunday) are available throughout the day and evening.
  • This space is exclusive to WFF housekeeping services. Clients may not move the furniture.
  • Tisch Commons is not a private space. No measures may be taken to restrict or redirect university traffic through the space.
  • Reservations must be made at least two weeks in advance.

It is advisable to request any necessary equipment as soon as possible and no less than 48 hours in advance. Equipment availability is not guaranteed. Please contact your event coordinator to discuss the use of nonuniversity AV companies in this space.
