Event Management coordinates the reservation of pooled classrooms throughout the Danforth Campus.

Reservations for special events and other requests may only be considered by Event Management after academic class scheduling has been completed each semester by the Office of the University Registrar. Space Guidelines

  • Events hosted in these spaces must comply with the guidelines for all space rentals.
  • See the Scheduling Guidelines for information about deadlines for reservations. Please note that pooled classrooms are booked heavily with academic classes Mondays-Fridays 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. and Mondays-Wednesdays 5:30 p.m. – 9 p.m. The availability of pooled classrooms during these times is extremely limited.
  • Clients may use the amenities listed on the Teaching Center website to set the room themselves. All items must be returned to their proper place prior to the end of the reservation time to avoid an emergency rate post-clean.
  • The teaching desk may not be moved. Any damages incurred by trying to move the desk will be the responsibility of the client.

Classroom Scheduling

  • Weekday reservation requests for fall and spring semester events in pooled classrooms will not be accepted until two weeks after the first day of classes.
  • Weekend reservation requests (after 4 p.m. on Friday to midnight on Sunday) for fall and spring semester meetings or events located in pooled classrooms will be accepted on:
    • Fall Semester – August 1
    • Spring Semester – First Business Day in January
  • Weekday and Weekend requests for the summer semester will be accepted on May 1.

Space Amenities

Equipment and Audio-Visual Features

  • Specific features lists are provided by the Teaching Center.
  • AV cabinet keys may be checked out in the Event Management Office, DUC 322.
  • AV equipment in this space is self-service.
  • Self-service rentals may be available via All Campus Audio Visual Services. It is advisable to request any necessary equipment as soon as possible and no less than 48 hours in advance. Equipment availability is not guaranteed.
